PCA National Awards

Lazar-Blanchard Memorial Trophy
Commonly known as the Porsche Club of America Enthusiast of the Year Award, this award is presented to the individual who best exemplifies the spirit and guidelines of PCA. It is awarded each year at the PCA annual Parade. Based on nominations from the various clubs regions, the PCA Executive Council selects the most deserving nomination.

Porsche Family of the Year Award
This award is presented to a Porsche Club of America family which best exemplifies the spirit and guidelines of PCA. It is awarded each year at the PCA annual Parade. Based on nominations from the various clubs regions, the PCA Executive Council selects the most deserving nomination.

Ferry Porsche Trophy
More commonly known as the Region of the Year Award, this award is presented to the most outstanding region which best exemplifies the guidelines and goals of PCA. It is awarded each year at the PCA annual Parade. This award was first presented at the sixth Parade in 1961. This award is sponsored by the Porsche factory and Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) in the memory of Dr. Ferdinand (Ferry) Porsche.

Public Service Award
This program is designed to recognize PCA Regions that conduct charity fund raising or community service events.

Web Site Award
This award is given annually to the region(s) with the most outstanding web sites. Class winners are recognized based on their region size. 

Heinmiller Newsletter Award
This award is given annually to the region(s) with the most outstanding newsletters. Class winners are recognized based on their region size. 

Presidents Parade Award
This award is presented to the Region having the greatest number of cars at the Parade, considering the size of the Region and distance traveled.  

Long Distance Award
This award is presented to the member driving a Porsche the greatest distance to the Parade. It is based on Official Road Atlas mileages, as opposed to the member’s record, between the member’s recorded home city or town and the city or town of the parade.

Appreciation Awards
These awards are presented to those individuals at the end of their term of office who has served the PCA as a National Office or member of the National staff.

Zone Representatives’ Awards
This award is presented by the Zone Representatives to individuals within PCA whom, in the opinion of the Zone Representatives, have distinguished themselves by outstanding contributions to the Porsche Club of America, Inc.

Honorary Judges’ Choice
This award is selected from among those Porsches entered in the Concours by a panel of honorary judges.

People’s Choice
This award is selected from among those Porsches entered in the Concours by the Parade entrants.

Historic Display Award
This award is selected as the most popular Porsche from among those in the Historic Display.

Rally Awards

Class Awards

Hoffman Rally Trophy
This award is presented to the driver of the first place car in the Parade rally.

Woolery Navigator Trophy
This award is presented to the navigator of the first place car in the Parade rally

Autocross

Class Awards
1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, depending on PCR criteria

Men’s Driving Trophy
This award is presented to the fastest male driver.

Women’s Driving Trophy
This award is presented to the fastest female driver.

Technical and Historical Porsche Quiz

Class Awards
1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, depending on PCR criteria

Men’s Technical and Historical Trophy
This award is presented to the highest scoring male entrant.

Women’s Technical and Historical Trophy
This award is presented to the highest scoring female entrant.

Artshow

Class Awards
1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, depending on PCR criteria

People’s Choice
This award is selected by Parade entrants for the favorite art.

Best in Show
This award is based on the judges’ opinions for best overall in the show. Awards can be given for both amateur and professional if determined by the local committee.
